The Commercial Sales Manager is responsible for leading a high-performing team of Account Managers to drive
sustainable sales growth customer satisfaction and profitability across the JB Hi-Fi Business and Education segments. This role blends strategic leadership business development and operational excellence to deliver on regional and national objectives. The Commercial Sales Manager will foster a culture of innovation collaboration and customer-centricity while identifying new business opportunities and nurturing long-term client relationships.
- Lead coach and develop a team of Account Managers to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer advocacy innovation and continuous improvement.
- Deliver regional sales targets aligned with national growth strategies and programs.
- Develop and execute regional business plans including forecasting budgeting and reporting.
- Drive acquisition retention and growth strategies across the customer portfolio.
- Act as an escalation point for complex customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the region.
- Represent JB Business at industry events trade shows and networking functions.
- Ensure Salesforce and other systems are accurately maintained for forecasting reporting and pipeline management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product Marketing Telco Commercial Services etc.) to deliver integrated solutions.
Qualifications :
- 8 years of B2B sales experience ideally in IT or commercial services.
- Client focused individual with experience working in a fast-paced sales environment ideally with experience selling I.T products and services
- Exceptional Sales skills with a proven track record of delivering strong sales results
- Experience in Microsoft Office required
- Experience with Salesforce is beneficial
- Strong leadership skills the ability to engage mentor and motivate
- Excellent communication presentation negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Financial knowledge and business acumen
- Highly motivated with ability to work as part of a team
- Current Drivers License
