Job Description

Newbury Elementary School is seeking a teacher for grade 1. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching excellent communication and organization skills a dedication to collaboration and a positive mindset. The grade 1 teacher will work with the grade 1 team and special educators to meet the needs of all students in the and Responsibilities:1. Collaborate with the classroom teacher gradelevel team and special educators.2. Support all students in the classroom including those on IEPs and 504s.3. Advocate for students and provide a rich learning environment.4. Maintain an organized efficient learning environment.5. Familiarity with DIBELS Fundations iReady Math in Focus Amplify CKLA a plus.6. Understanding of child development and how to support students with specific needs not on an IEP or 504.
