This position supports all criminalinvestigative work for the Frederick Barrack which has roughly 40 swornpersonnel. The incumbent is responsible for all UCR statistics (monthly andannually) all expungement requests all court ordered subpoenas forinvestigative records and every transmission of investigative files inpreparation for trial at the request of investigators and prosecutors at theStates Attorneys Office. This position handles and controls all logistics asit relates to investigative files; its audit inspection and retention. Thisperson is the liaison for the Central Records Division and CJIS audit andinspections for juvenile retention and Live Scan imaging.
Administrative Duties: Review and analyze allreports and documents to obtain necessary information for recording in compliancewith the Uniform Crime Reporting System. After verifying information theincumbent must enter the data into the computer and process the reports throughfour (4) additional stages (ledgers master cards correlation) for filing inrecords room in appropriate files. Invoice and working fund processingincident summary report crime control and prevention inventory and JuvenileJustice Advisory Council
Liaison with investigators from the StatesAttorneys Office (SAO); preparing investigative files for trial.
Compliance/Adherence Duties
Filing auditing inspecting and purging filesfor Central Records Division court ordered fingerprint cards
Processing expungement requests and followingexpungement procedures.
Preparing responses to defense and courtordered subpoenas decentralized line inspections.
CJS juvenile audit and inspections;miscellaneous inhouse requests
Other duties as assigned.
Education: Graduation from an accredited highschool or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: One year of experience performingadministrative staff clerical clerical technical or secretarial work.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute 30 credit hoursfrom an accredited college or university for the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forcesmilitary service experience as a noncommissioned officer involving staff workrequiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying andinterpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policieson a yearforyear basis for the required experience.

PreferredQualifications:
1. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) andGoogle Workspace (Docs Sheets Gmail).
2. Experience drafting and typing administrative correspondenceendorsements reports and letters.
Employees in thisclassification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motorvehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motorvehicle operators license valid in the State of Maryland.
