As a Warehouse Associate at Caterpillar Inc. you will work from a variety of source documents to verify part numbers part locations and quantities. In addition to counting parts and filling orders you will conduct first line basic quality assessment of parts for damage and defects.

Available Shifts:

Weekday 2nd Shift Monday Friday 2:30pm 11:00pm

Weekday 3rd Shift Sunday night Friday morning 10:30pm 7:00am

Compensation and Benefits:

* $18.20/hr (and an additional $.75 shift differential)

* Overtime opportunities available at 1.5x pay rate

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment including sit down forklifts reach trucks order pickers and overhead hoists

Perform material handling and warehousing functions such as unloading sorting putting away picking packing and shipping parts materials and supplies

Operate electronic hardware/RF units

Good attendance record and ability to work OT when required

Consistent usage of required PPE for task being performed

The ability to properly perform quality checks

Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older

Willing and able to be trained on heavy equipment including sit down forklifts reach trucks order pickers and overhead hoists

Adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures

Frequently lift parts up to50 pounds individually

Frequent bending reaching climbing walking and squatting while performing job tasks

Ability to communicate effectively and read/write documents in English

Desired Qualifications:

Previous warehouse experience

Previous experience with mobile equipment operation

RF utilization experience

Positive attitude

Ability to work with a team environment

Willingness to learn new processes
