Practice Nurse Locum
Dates: Up to full time from asap
Location: TA18
Duties: EMIS / Treatment Room Duties / Chronic Disease Reviews
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Practice Nurse you will play a crucial role in providing highquality care to patients within a primary care setting.
Responsibilities
- Conducting patient assessments and developing care plans
- Providing general nursing care including wound care vaccinations and health screenings
- Assisting healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
- Managing and maintaining patient records
- Educating and advising patients on various health issues
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license and registration
- Proven experience as a Practice Nurse or similar role
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
- Commitment to providing patientcentered care and promoting health equity
Daytoday
- Conducting patient assessments and updating electronic health records
- Providing nursing care such as administering medications and dressing wounds
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
- Educating patients on preventive healthcare measures and lifestyle choices
- Assisting in the management of chronic diseases and conditions
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
