Are you an organized detailoriented professional with experience in administrative support within an accounting or tax environment Were looking for a proactive and efficient Administrative Coordinator to join our clients established reputable and local midsized accounting and tax firm in Halifax Nova Scotia.

This newly created role plays a vital part in the firms workflow. If you enjoy keeping things on track and being the goto person for information flow while having job stability within a cohesive team environment this could be a perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for collecting and organizing client documentation
  • Track incoming information and identify which files are ready for preparation
  • Follow up with clients for outstanding forms slips or documentation
  • Support onboarding and scheduling of client engagements
  • Provide administrative support during busy tax seasons including assistance with tax slips and personal tax packages
  • Collaborate closely with accountants and preparers to ensure a smooth workflow
Experience & Attributes for Success:
  • Prior experience in an administrative support role ideally within an accounting or tax setting is deal
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Professional clear communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a deadlinedriven environment
  • Working knowledge of accounting or tax processes is an asset but not required
  • Techsavvy with familiarity in document management and scheduling tools
