Minimum Qualification:
Masters degree in Accounting from an AACSBaccredited business school
Applicable equivalencies may be considered on the above qualification.
Professional certification of CPA CMA or deemed equivalent.
15 years or more of professional accounting experience.
CLevel or Senior Executive Experience with large firm environments or equivalent.
Candidates must maintain instructor practitioner or academic practitioner qualifications consistent with AACSB Standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
CFO or controllership experience.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate student learning in individual and classroom settings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage faculty and external partners.
A passion for education and a commitment to student development.

The William Dillard Department of Accounting: The department develops outstanding students and faculty who meaningfully impact the global accounting community. The department currently has twelve tenured or tenuretrack faculty members eight teaching/clinical faculty members eight fulltime instructors and several parttime lecturers. The department offers an undergraduate degree program in accounting and graduate programs at both the masters and doctoral levels. The department also offers a fiveyear integrated program which leads to the simultaneous awarding of an undergraduate degree and a masters degree. The departments programs are accredited by the AACSB The International Association for Management Education which ensures quality and promotes excellence and continuous improvement in undergraduate and graduate education. The department was named as part of a gift that was provided in honor of William Dillard Sr.
The Sam M. Walton College of Business founded at the University of Arkansas in 1926 and accredited by AACSB International since 1931 has been ranked as a top 30 public business school for 15 years in a row by U.S. News & World Report. U.S. News currently ranks Walton College 28th. Four Walton College graduates serve as CEOs of Fortune 500 companies and nearly 30 Walton alumni occupy executive offices at Fortune 500 companies. In 1998 the Walton Family Charitable Support Foundation gave the Walton College an endowment of $50 million at that time the single largest upfront cash gift to a business school. The college has experienced extremely strong growth in enrollment over the past several years (over 23% increase since fall 2021).
