Schedule: MF (Day Shift)
The Early Childhood Specialist identifies patients who are experiencing or are at risk for delays in development that are eligible for early intervention and preschool services. The specialist incorporates evidencebased practices and completes developmental assessments establishes developmental goals provides developmental interventions coordinates community referrals provides education regarding early intervention and demonstrates ageappropriate care to patients birth through 5 years. Gathers necessary consent and information for program enrollment. Provides developmentally appropriate play. Completes reports/records/forms as required by role including but not limited to FCBDD DODD and ODH in a timely and thorough manner.

ODE teacher licensure as an Intervention Specialist for ages 3 8 (Prek3) for teachers working with preschoolers preferred.
Early Intervention Certification or certification eligibility from the Ohio State Department of DD required.
Two years of experience with infants toddlers or preschoolers with special needs required.
