DescriptionResideo is searching for a qualified Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to work alongside security and maintenance staff to ensure our buildings and grounds are clean and safe. The Facilities Supervisor oversees all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities. Duties include running routine safety inspections corresponding with contractors planning maintenance work maintaining records and supervising facilities staff. Our ideal candidate is wellversed in facilities management processes and exhibits high multitasking and organizational abilities.
JOB DUTIES:
- Maintenance Oversight: Manage scheduled preventive maintenance; planning and overseeing building renovations improvements and addressing unexpected repairs to ensure the facility operates efficiently. Maintain building systems (HVAC plumbing electrical).
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure facility complies with health safety and environmental regulations and implementing necessary protocols to maintain a safe working environment.; Support mitigation/management of emergency situations and incidents.
- Budget Management: Oversee the facility budget ensuring costeffective solutions without compromising on quality or safety; Negotiate contracts and secure competitive pricing.
- Vendor Coordination: Collect bids requests for proposal and coordinate contractors and service providers to ensure timely and quality maintenance and repair work.
- Communication: Maintain open communication channels with crossfunctional teams including site leadership and various onsite departments as needed.
- Liaison: Be the main point of contact for property management and landlord
- Staff Supervision: Hire train and motivate staff ensuring longlasting positive performance
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 5 years of experience in building operations maintenance and project management
- 2 years of experience supporting leading and mentoring a team in supervisory role (at least a team of 2)
- 2 years of experience completing maintenance and repair in a facilities environment
- Experience supporting the planning organization and execution of sitewide facilities projects
WE VALUE:
- Proven experience utilizing facility management software and technologies
- Certification(s) from the from theInternational Facility Management Association (IFMA) such as a Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure that facilities are maintained to a high standard
- Proficient knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing fire safety and security systems
- Sound understanding of maintenance and repair procedures
- Sound written and verbal communication skills are vital for interacting with staff tenants and vendors
- The ability to identify analyze and resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Experience in managing budgets tracking expenses and identifying costsaving opportunities
- Ability to plan organize and execute projects efficiently and effectively while prioritizing multiple tasks
- Sound understanding of safety regulations and procedures and the ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Ability to manage unforeseen challenges and evolving organizational needs
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to and build positive relationships with staff tenants vendors and other stakeholders
