Corewell Health Farmington Hills opened on Jan. 19 1965 as a 200bed facility known then as Botsford General Hospital. Today Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is a 305bed teaching facility with Level II trauma status
Scope of work
The NMT performs both imaging and nonimaging procedures on patients and/or patient samples using radioactive tracers. The NMT is responsible for the safe and correct handling of radioactive materials the care and operation of radiation detection equipment knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures the appropriate computer analysis to generate a patient result and patient care. A NMT uses specific age and culturerelated physical intellectual psychosocial and developmental attributes in assessment planning implementation and evaluation of patient care. Qualifications
- Required associates degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred
- 5 years of relevant experience as NMT required
- CRTNuclear Medicine Technologist NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Upon Hire required
- Or CRTNuclear Medicine TechnologistAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologist (N) ARRT
- CRTBasic Life Support (BLS) AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
