Job Description:
L3Harris is looking for a highly motivated and driven Director of Program Management to oversee a $40M portfolio. The focus areas include rapid response solutions advanced packaging and photonic/acoustic sensing for classified customers. The ideal candidate should have strong program management skills a growth mindset and experience managing programs in highcomplexity highly dynamic environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cuttingedge solutions and make a significant impact within the Advanced Systems business area.
Essential Functions:
Collaborate with multiple internal and external customers to ensure program success
Lead the Program Management Office (PMO) and functional teams in growing capturing and executing the Advanced Systems business area
Responsible for ensuring the management of the cost schedule and technical performance requirements of the release systems portfolio of programs through all phases from inception to completion
Direct the preparation of proposals business plans proposal work statements and specifications operating budget and financial terms/conditions of contracts
Involved in defining program parameters or guiding internal research and development efforts in the assigned field
Work with customers to determine needs requirements and new business opportunities
Solve highly complex problems with significant business impact
Responsible for the overall development and management of the financial forecasts and strategic planning of the business area
Qualifications:
Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience; Or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience; Or in lieu of a degree minimum of 19 years of prior related experience

Solid technical background with strong business acumen
Demonstrated success in growing and capturing new business opportunities
Ability to organize and coordinate customer visits
Ability to make effective decisions regarding the profitability and achievability of pursuits
Ability to work with other Program Managers Business Development Managers Engineering and support functions
Ability to communicate in a thorough clear and timely manner which supports information sharing and goal achievement
Proven experience developing broad cooperative relationships with numerous groups and individuals even when having no direct authority over them
Excellent interpersonal written and verbal skills
