About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Director of Sport to join our School community in Term 3 2025.

In this key leadership role reporting to the Deputy Principal Head of Senior School the successful candidate will drive a wholeschool vision for sport by leading engaging inclusive and skillsbased programs that cultivate teamwork resilience and a lifelong passion for physical activity and athletic excellence.

The role is on a fulltime basis and will include a teaching component.

To be successful in this opportunity you will require:

Professional Qualifications and Experience

  • A tertiary qualification in Sports Management Physical Education Exercise Science or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in managing school or community sport programs within a girls school or similar context.
  • Demonstrated success in leading multifaceted sport programs including interschool competition (e.g. GSV) community sport (e.g. Netball) and highperformance pathways (e.g. Rowing and Snowsports).
  • Proven capacity to design and implement strategic initiatives that enhance student participation wellbeing and performance outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of risk management staff coordination and scheduling across complex sporting programs.
  • Proficiency with digital platforms for sports coordination including experience using systems like Clipboard or equivalent.
