JOB PURPOSE:
The Operations Coordinator at Atlanta International School is a vital member of the operations administrative team ensuring smooth and efficient daytoday operations of the school. This role is essential in maintaining a wellorganized environment and providing excellent service to students parents staff and visitors.

Start Date: September 1 2025
Location:Buckhead Campus
Reports to: Operations Manager

FLSA: NonExempt FullTime Hourly (40 Hours)

Position Status: 3Month Employee (Temporary)
Benefits:The temporary assignment does not offer employer paid benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assigning Work Orders:
    • Manage and assign work orders for the Operations Team to ensure timely and effective completion of tasks.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Add and update school events on the Google Calendar from Veracross ensuring accurate and timely communication of school activities.
    • Assist in paying invoices
    • Coordinate transportation for field trips including arranging buses and communicating schedules with teachers and transportation providers.
    • Assist with filing and documentation tasks as required by the Operations leadership ensuring accurate and uptodate records.
  • Front Desk Assistance:
    • Assist at the front desk with checking in students parents and visitors ensuring a welcoming and secure environment.
    • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department providing clear and courteous communication.
    • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area ensuring all materials and supplies are wellstocked and accessible.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Keep inventory of school flags ensuring they are organized and readily available for use.
    • Help with sorting and distributing mail and packages in the Copy Center ensuring timely delivery to the appropriate recipients.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelors degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in an administrative or operations support role preferably in a school setting.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Google Suite (especially Google Calendar) and Veracross or similar school management systems.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Detailoriented with a proactive approach to problemsolving.
Work Environment:
  • Physical Demands:
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
    • Ability to stand walk and sit for extended periods.
  • Work Schedule:
    • Fulltime position typically Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (with an hour lunch) with occasional evenings or weekends as needed for special events or projects.
