Job Summary

The Learning Experience Specialist supports the Franchise Training Divisions training programs by ensuring the logistical and operational aspects of training events are executed smoothly. This role involves preparing classrooms and training areas ensuring the functionality and availability of training materials props and equipment focuses on preparing classrooms and training areas maintaining equipment and materials and performing light housekeeping and maintenance tasks. Reporting directly to the Supervisor Learning Experience Operations the Learning Experience Specialist plays a critical role in delivering a professional and seamless training experience for franchisees.

You will

Execute training classroom setup and breakdown according to predefined room templates ensuring all materials and equipment are in place and functional.

Perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks arrange furniture place student materials and ensure classroom supplies and equipment are inventoried regularly and replenished as needed.

Prepare training areas for handson demonstrations and practice exercises by setting up equipment samples of SERVPRO products and special materials and props.

Ensure all assigned tasks are completed on schedule and meet expectations including classroom setup cleaning light maintenance and preparation for handson practice exercises.

Set up auditoriums and other classrooms to accommodate meetings and sessions as requested.

Perform scheduled light maintenance tasks in training facilities such as painting baseboards and trim.

Assist with event coordination by preparing materials confirming logistics (e.g. catering room reservations) and ensuring alignment with the Supervisors event plans.

Support communication efforts by distributing eventrelated information to registrants facilitators or vendors as directed by the Supervisor ensuring timely and accurate updates.

Support the Franchise Training team and organizational initiatives by taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

You have

  • Ability to read write and communicate with employees customers suppliers in person on the phone and by written communications in a clear straightforward and professional manner.
  • Minimum of 3 5 yrs. work experience as a Maintenance Technician or Custodian in a mid to largesized organizational setting.
  • Proficiency in operating equipment and tools used in light housekeeping and cleaning applications with the ability to perform general property maintenance tasks.
  • Basic proficiency with MSOutlook. Working familiarity with standard office equipment. Basic keyboarding skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and organizational skills. Must have the ability to successfully work with others from different backgrounds and experiences.
  • Highly organized with a strong customer service focus.
  • Certificates or skills certifications earned in specific vocational trade areas a plus.
  • Cleaning or restoration industry experience is strongly desired.
  • Serviceindustry experience is helpful.

Education

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. A broadbased vocational skill set highly preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Fastpaced high pressure office environment.
  • Standard working hours based on a 40hour work week.
  • Additional working hours required as needed to complete assignments and projects on schedule.
  • Minimal travel as required for business needs.
  • Position applicants must be able to lift 50 100 pounds independently or with assistance and special equipment.
  • The ability to work around cleaning products and chemicals.
  • The ability to travel independently and maintain a valid Drivers License.
  • Work location: Onsite/hybrid
