Job Summary

The IT Physical and Digital Assets Coordinator plays a key role in managing the full lifecycle of the colleges physical and digital IT assets. This includes overseeing over 5000 physical devices ensuring accurate inventory tracking coordinating procurement and disposal processes and maintaining compliance with institutional and legal standards. The coordinator manages software licenses and subscriptions ensuring proper usage and documentation to meet compliance requirements. They are responsible for maintaining the IT asset management system conducting regular sitebased inventory audits across all college locations and supporting the development of technology replacement plans. This role also contributes to ITrelated planning for capital construction and maintenance projects and acts as a liaison for grantfunded technology purchases including Perkins funding.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or higher in business or technologyrelated field from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. An equivalency will not count towards the twoyear experience requirement below.
  • Two years of experience researching quoting and procuring technology in an educational or business environment.
  • Experience overseeing a portfolio of over 5000 physical assets.
  • Experience with inventory/asset management.
  • Experience with ITAM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and to think strategically.
  • Strong knowledge of current computer technologies including desktops laptops and other common devices software Windows and Mac OS.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • A strong focus on service delivery with a desire to innovate improve process support others and share ideas.
  • Ability to identify and understand technology use cases and to use sound judgement to evaluate and make technical recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2) years demonstrated budget development and management preferably within an IT function.
  • Familiarity with State of Colorado procurement rules and processes.
  • Direct experience working in higher education.
  • Experience creating and managing a computer equipment lifecycle plan.
  • Experience with Formstack Formstack Sign and Adobe Sign.
  • IAITAM certifications.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
  • Familiarity with the IT environment at a higher education institution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 particularly Excel SharePoint and Teams.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Ability to learn quickly and to adapt quickly to the changing environment.
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team player.
  • Must be able to travel and work at multiple campuses.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent tasks projects and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn use and teach a multitude of software packages.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn use and teach a multitude of technology applications.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong organization and timemanagement skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to successfully work with various constituents.
  • Cultural competence and demonstrated evidence understanding and commitment to the concepts of diversity multiculturalism and their application in the workplace.
  • Adhere to college policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality while working effectively with all constituents .
