Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive endtoend software development initiatives that deliver exceptional FireTV experiences to millions of customers worldwide. In this role you will lead complex cross functional projects within Amazons FireTV division a key component of Amazon Devices & Services. The ideal candidate will combine technical acumen with strategic program management to shepherd innovative features from conception to launch while collaborating with engineering teams product managers and key stakeholders across the organization. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of home entertainment by delivering solutions that maintain FireTVs position as a market leader in streaming technology.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager you will lead complex crossorganizational projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will encompass communicating detailed product specifications to teams developing comprehensive project schedules in addition to risk and mitigations plans. You will utilize metrics to provide accurate status updates and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinating design and implementation efforts across multiple teams you will drive optimal solutions while anticipating and resolving bottlenecks. Your role requires balancing business needs with technical constraints making strategic tradeoffs when necessary. You must excel in an entrepreneurial environment demonstrating the ability to overcome scaling challenges and navigate ambiguity. This position demands a combination of highlevel strategic thinking and handson execution. You will be expected to exercise sound judgment in delivering both shortterm and longterm value for customers. Your strong program management background and wellrounded technical expertise will be crucial in leading largescale initiatives and driving innovation within the organization. A day in the life
In this role you will coordinate daily with crossfunctional teams to track project progress and resolve blockers. Your day involves facilitating standups maintaining project schedules and updating documentation to reflect current status. You will regularly engage with stakeholders through status meetings risk reviews and leadership updates. Daily activities include triaging issues prioritizing work items and collaborating with remote teams to ensure alignment with launch timelines. You will spend time authoring project updates reviewing technical specifications and adjusting project plans based on emerging requirements. Active communication with product management and engineering teams will be essential as you guide projects from conception through successful delivery.

7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
5 years of technical product or program management experience
3 years of software development experience
5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multimillion dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
