Network Engineer
3 days onsite at Spring TX
- Oversee the daily operations of the network infrastructure ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Cisco Wired and Wireless systems. Implement and manage Cisco Switching and Routing solutions to maintain seamless network connectivity.
- Configure and maintain Cisco VPNs to ensure secure remote access for users.
- Deploy and manage Cisco Catalyst SDWAN (Viptela) solutions to enhance network efficiency and performance.
- Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement to prevent potential issues.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
- Conduct regular network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations processes and procedures.
- Provide training and support to junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in network technologies to ensure the companys infrastructure remains cuttingedge.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure network resilience in case of emergencies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on network performance and project progress.
- Coordinating external interfaces and ICDs
- Multilevel security domain expertise (and crossdomain)
- Quickly (with a more agile lightweight approach) decomposing requirements to a level that can avoid requirements bloat (and communicate/track impacts)
- Systemlevel networking person that can face off with the GFE WAN provider and coordinate detailed network design
- Coordinating external interfaces and ICDs
- Key Skills: LAN WAN Firewall (Palo Alto Cisco) Security Enterprise level network experience.
- Good knowledge of Juniper Should be able to answer question about Juniper during the interview
- Must have 810 year of real time experience
