Job Description

Looking to build your career in property management If yes then the Northern Land Council (NLC) is looking for someone like you who is ready to support a diverse property portfolio that spans over both urban and remote Aboriginal communities.

About the Role:

As a key member of the Property team youll assist in managing a broad range of property management functions that help drive the NLCs strategic goals and daily operations. Working closely with the Senior Property Officer youll help prepare leases coordinate maintenance liaise with contractors support asset procurement and contribute to efficient space planning.

You will have strong administrative skills a good eye for detail and a collaborative mindset. Your interpersonal and crosscultural communication skills will help you in engaging liaising and building strong relationships with colleagues stakeholders and the wider community. Your customer service will be nothing short of exceptional delivering tailored solutions to diverse stakeholders while balancing competing demands. Adaptable and solutionoriented you will always find creative ways to overcome challenges and achieve optimal outcomes.

In addition to this you will have:

  • Qualifications in property management within residential / commercial environments.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in residential or commercial properties.
  • Experience in Housing or Property Management with a strong understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act 1999 or the ability to rapidly acquire.
  • With guidance interpret and implement legislation regulations lease and contracts including negotiations and management.
  • A current drivers licence with the ability and willingness to undertake remote travel in a manual 4wd vehicle or light aircraft.

  • Abase salary of $73987per annum plus14.5% superannuationandsalary sacrificingup to $15900 Meal Entertainment and Holiday Accommodation benefits up to $2650 per year.
  • Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
    • District allowanceof up to $4797 per annum for individuals with dependents and $2630 without dependents.
    • 5weeks annual leave leaving loading 18 days personal leave;
    • Paid Christmasclose down;
    • Upon completion of 12 months of service anAnnual airfarewith a net (in hand) value of $2961
