We are seeking an experienced Production Scheduler who will be responsible for developing coordinating and executing production schedules for jerky and meat stick products. In this role you will play a vital part in keeping production running smoothly by ensuring materials and resources are available when needed minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency. Youll work closely with stakeholders to address scheduling conflicts and make necessary adjustments to adapt to changing demands.

Things you will own as a Production Scheduler:
- Develop and manage daily weekly and monthly production schedules for jerky and meat stick products based on demand forecasts inventory levels and capacity.
- Coordinate production schedules across internal manufacturing and comanufacturing partners to ensure seamless production operations.
- Work closely with production teams to track progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet customer demand and business objectives.
- Collaborate with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure that raw materials are available in the right location for production.
- Manage the flow of raw materials and finished goods between manufacturing sites warehouses and comanufacturers.
- Partner with procurement production quality control and warehouse teams to ensure alignment on schedules and requirements.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on production and escalate any issues that may impact delivery timelines.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase production efficiency and reduce changeovers.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules inventory movements and any changes to planned timelines.
- Analyze trends in production performance and adjust future scheduling practices accordingly.
- Act as the first point of contact for any scheduling issues or conflicts resolving them quickly to minimize impact on production.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential scheduling disruptions (e.g. supply delays machine breakdowns).
What were looking for:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Operations Management Business or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a production scheduling or supply chain management role ideally in the food or manufacturing industry.
- Experience working with both internal and comanufactured production processes.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and scheduling tools.
- Advanced Excel Proficiency
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to analyze data forecast production needs and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Knowledge of inventory management production planning and supply chain best practices.
Hiring Range: $75000 to $90000/year
