As a part of the leadership team the Fulfillment Lead will be overseeing up to 50 fulfillment associates. Fulfillment Leads ensure that workflow operates smoothly and that the fulfillment staff can work continuously and efficiently. As a result of the Leads effort Lulus will be able to efficiently fulfill orders for our many customers.
What Youll Do
Monitor workflow and manage exceptions
Monitor Pending status and ensure all orders are addressed based on established priorities
Reassign fulfillment employees as workload changes to meet departmental efficiency and volume targets
Ensure daily Customer deadlines are met including making sure all qualifying expedited orders are shipped on time.
Solve problems in the fulfillment process; troubleshoot issues promptly and escalate to management when appropriate.
Maintain a high level of discretion when handling confidential matters
Act as a liaison between employees and Lulus Management
Communicate expectations to team members professionally and consistently.
Monitor the workforce to ensure that standard operating procedures and safety policies are being followed.
Communicate with other departments promptly and in a professional manner.
Address and correct invalid customer addresses
Maintain a consistent presence and accessibility on the warehouse floor every scheduled day
Other warehouse duties as assigned
What Youll Need
High School Diploma or GED required
1 yrs. experience in a leadership role preferred
Experience with warehouse management systems preferred
Basic knowledge of Google Suite
Excellent communication; written (Slack or email) oral and group facilitation
Intermediate technical aptitude; general computer & network troubleshooting
Intermediate knowledge of warehouse processes and concepts
Must be able to adapt quickly and cooperatively to change and be willing to jump in to help fulfillment staff as needed
Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues supervisors and managers at all times
Work well under pressure. Meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines
Excellent attendance and reliability
Work Environment
Duties are performed both inside and outside in varying temperatures including heat cold and sometimes wet or humid conditions. Exposure to occasionally high background noise is probable.
Physical Requirements for Performing Essential Duties
Sitting/Standing/Walking: Approximately 30% of the time is spent in varying work areas with approximately 70% of time spent in an office environment.
Speaking/Hearing: Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and supervisors
Vision: Ability to visualize items around the work area.
Lifting/Carrying: Ability to lift carry and hold up to 50 lbs.
Stooping/Kneeling: Ability to stoop and/or kneel to access equipment when needed
Reaching/Handling: Ability to retrieve and work with appropriate equipment and supplies
