Job Description

We are currently seeking a Workshop Fishing Technician to join Oiltools team.

This role will be required to:
  • Carry out Servicing assembly and testing of Archer Fishing equipment shock tools and third party equipment in accordance to Archers quality management system.
  • Preparation of tools for shipment offshore according to work order and procedures
  • Preparation of offshore check lists for tools
  • Participate in maintenance and housekeeping of Workshop area
  • Prepare necessary job reports and documentation for all tool installation and offshore activities
  • Project work
  • Safe and proactive behaviour active use of 4pointcheck toolbox talk interventions and proactive reporting.
  • Available on a 24hour call basis if required to respond to operational needs.
  • Maintain work area clean and all paperwork/records up to date.
  • Assist in training and mentoring Archer personnel where required on Fishing Equipment and maintenance.
Experience:
  • Proficient with Windows PC use
  • Extensive experience of all fishing tools and inspection criteria.
  • Involvement within setting up new business workshop and work flow efficiencies beneficial.
  • Basic understanding of rig systems and drilling operations.
