Neighbourhood Sheltered Officer

Permanent

Grade 3

36.5 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to work for City Housing within Services for Older People in the role of a neighbourhood sheltered officer supporting tenants living in sheltered housing. We are seeking an enthusiastic person with good interpersonal skills and abilities that can meet our person specification to the job role.

The post holder will manage multiple aspects of housing management in a sheltered housing scheme. You will conduct face to face visits in the home & make necessary referrals on to other teams & agencies to enable independent living and sustaining a tenancy. You will be responsible for the health & safety within the building and conduct week legal checks for compliance. You will conduct group meetings on schemes to deliver customer updates on the service.

You will need to be able to work alone and as a team to provide cover to a patch.
