The Communicable Disease Control Branch is responsible for communicable disease control immunization and public health information systems. In accordance with the Alberta Immunization Regulation under the Public Health Act the Immunization Business Unit operationalize policies and guidelines to ensure accurate and timely management of Albertas vaccine supply.

Alberta Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Consultant to lead and support key operations in immunization delivery across the province. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to public health initiatives by supporting vaccine distribution policy development and stakeholder collaboration at local provincial and national levels.

This role involves a balance of strategic leadership and handson program implementation requiring strong clinical knowledge project management skills and an ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across the healthcare and government sectors.

Education and Experience:

A bachelors degree in nursing pharmacy and/or Medicine plus a minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in immunization programs public health or healthcare operations. Must be a regulated member of the appropriate college as required by the Health Professions Act.

This is a fulltime position working 36.25 hours per week.

Candidates with lesser qualifications may be considered at a lower classification and salary. This competition may be used to fill future roles at the same or lower classifications.
