Position Overview:
The Capacity Planning Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining the short and midrange Production Plan utilizing designated planning tools to monitor track and optimize load and capacity profiles of production sites. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail as it supports accurate data collection analysis and reporting. The Capacity Planning Coordinator ensures that production capacity is aligned with demand and collaborates closely with crossfunctional teams to enhance operational efficiency and ontime delivery.
What Youll Do:
- Maintain and update daily performance tracking to monitor production progress.
- Assist in data collection and analysis related to production capacity.
- Analyze historical and current production performance to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in load profiles of production sites using statistical methods and process control techniques.
- Work closely with Analysts and the Production Execution team to ensure the 6month Production Plan is on track.
- Support inhouse production data tracking and generate reports to support decisionmaking.
- Prepare reports charts graphs and statistical insights to ensure load vs. capacity balance across production sites.
- Participate in weekly planning meetings with key stakeholders including Sales Planning Sales Operations and Procurement.
- Creates Master Production Order (MPO) for offshore contractors.
- Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Lets Talk About You:
- 13 years of experience in Production Planning Capacity Planning or Production Scheduling.
- Bachelors degree in business administration Supply Chain Engineering or a related field.
- APICS certification or coursework in Supply Chain Management is a strong asset.
- Solid understanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook) with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables macros and formulas).
- Strong experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
- Ability to extract and interpret data from multiple sources to support capacity planning decisions.
- Demonstrated analytical and problemsolving skills applying PlanDoCheckAct (PDCA) methodology to optimize processes.
- Experience working with timebased data and statistical analysis techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective crossfunctional collaboration.
- Highly adaptable organized detailoriented and proactive.
- Passionate about continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and ability to work in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to learn adapt and take initiative.
Work Environment:
- Officebased role with occasional onsite visits to production locations.
- Light travel to other work sites may be required as assigned.
