Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
- WE REQUIRE A HIRING RECOMMEDNATIONFROM THE CAMPUS TO PROCEED WITH THIS APPLICATION.
- Bachelors degree (Degreed Substitute Teacher) OR 48 college credit hoursfrom a recognized accredited college or university (NonDegreed Substitute Teacher not eligible for longterm assignments); (If you have a foreign transcript it must be evaluated by a TEA approved credential evaluation agency.)
- Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Flexible and able to adjust daily routine.
- Demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to speak read and understand the English language.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Substitutes are employed on an atwill basis and are not considered contractual employees.
FEES:
There isa fingerprinting fee(approximately $50.00) associated with this application process.

DEGREED
$110.00/day (daily assignments)
$145/day $180/day (longterm assignments)
NONDEGREED
$102.00/day (daily assignments)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for implementing the Districts instructional program and educational philosophy in the subject area or grade level designated in accordance with district policies and procedures on a day to day basis.
2. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
WORKING CONDITIONS:

Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing stooping bending pulling and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks media equipment desks and other classroom equipment.
