We have an excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator working with our American Heart Association Hospital Quality and American Stroke Association teams. This fulltime benefitseligible position is grantfunded with current funding expiring on February 29 2028. This role is in Hawaii. This role can be home based on this location.
This individual will be responsible for administering and organizing various types of projects. Responsibilities include working with Program Consultants on project deliverables such as grant and vendor agreement execution payments and tracking overall project status. The position also involves close collaboration with several departments within national and regional offices to ensure success.

Responsibilities
- Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks including maintaining project documentation coordinating outreach and agreements and monitoring and tracking project budget to facilitate smooth client and vendor onboarding processes.
- Meeting Support: Provide meeting support for grantfunded projects facilitating scheduling and support for team meetings external meetings with stakeholders checkins etc.
- Liaison and Coordination: Liaise with internal partners and external vendors coordinate reviews for select transcreations and translations with crossfunctional teams and plan logistics for continuing education workshops and conferences.
- Time Management and Communication: Maintain excellent time management and communication skills with both internal and external partners to meet project deliverables and deadlines.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines. Communicate build relationships gain trust and effectively work with and through volunteers.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree is preferred.
- 3 years of related work experience.
- Administrative support and/or project management experience. Excellent process management and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of business English spelling grammar and punctuation.
- Proficiency in PC and computer equipment including word processing accounting database management Microsoft Word and Excel and other software applications.
- Ability to work without close supervision and be an effective collaborative team player.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills.
- Understanding of the functions resources and operations of nonprofits.
- Availability of travel is 5% per year including overnight stays.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years or more of knowledge/experience in cardiac stroke and/or resuscitation science.
Compensation & Benefits
The expected pay range will be $45000 to $55000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. The American Heart Association invests in its people.
