Freelancers are eligible to apply for an internal role if they are on a Worker Contract and they have worked continuously for 6 months. The Global Digital Business Development team is a very small but integral part of BBC World Service Business Development. The specialist team has responsibility for managing a global portfolio of digital partnerships with global online mobile social and emerging platforms to grow audience and revenue for BBC World to the Senior Business Development Manager Global Digital you will actively pursue and manage reach driving and commercial global digital partnerships for the BBC World Service.
You will be responsible for securing multilingual digital partnerships with global tech platforms for BBC World Service. Additionallyyou will optimise both new and existing partnerships to drive sustained growth for BBC World Services audience reach and commercial returns where applicable playing a key role in its continued success.
As a strong collaborator you will work closely with the Senior Business Development Manager Regional Business Development teams World Service and pan BBC stakeholders to deliver the World Service digital business development strategy. Your approach will be tailored to reflect both the objectives of the World Service and the broader BBC Group ensuring WS global digital partnerships are strategically aligned with the BBCs overarching goalswhile driving audience growth and where possible delivering commercial returns.
