Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a Talent Acquisition professional to lead the Talent Acquisition teams that support our Aerojet Rocketdyne and Communication Systems business segments. This position reports to the Sr. Director Enterpise Talent Acquisition and is a key member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team.This role provides significant exposure to senior leaders within the organization and external vendors offering an excellent opportunity for career growth and development.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

The Director Talent Acquisition will be responsible for organizing and leading the following initiatives:

  • Developing and implementing strategic hiring plans in alignment with the business segmentgoals
  • Leading and overseeing the recruitment and hiring processes including sourcing interviewing and selection
  • Working closely with the HR and business leadership to understand departmental needs and develop matching hiring strategies
  • Maintaining knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in Talent Acquisition
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with external recruitment agencies and other relevant organizations
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to hiring and employment
  • Stay updated with market trends compensation benchmarks and talent movements within the industry & conduct regular market analysis to identify potential candidates
  • Tracking and analyzing key recruitment metrics to evaluate and improve hiring performance
  • Managing multiple teams of recruiters / recruiting managersand providing them with training and guidance as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree with 15years prior related experience or Graduate Degree with 13years of equivalent work experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 19years of prior related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of Talent Acquisition strategy
  • Proven developer of recruiting teams
  • Sound data analytics background
  • Ability to organize and execute plans methodically and work collaboratively and cooperatively across functions and business segments
  • Proven MS Office skills particularly with respect to Excel and PowerPoint
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors
