The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for providing support in all aspects of human resources including recruitment employee onboarding benefits administration employee relations and compliance with labor laws. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Selection:
Assist in the development of job descriptions and job advertisements for the company.
Coordinate the recruitment process including scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
2. Employee Onboarding:
Develop and implement an effective onboarding program for new employees including training.
Ensure that all new employees complete necessary paperwork and attend orientation sessions.
3. Benefits Administration:
Administer employee benefits including health insurance retirement plans and other benefits.
Ensure compliance with benefitsrelated laws and regulations.
4. Employee Relations:
Provide guidance and support to employees on HRrelated matters including performance management and disciplinary actions.
Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances.
5. Compliance:
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations including employment standards health and safety and human rights.
Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance.
6. Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records including personnel files and benefits information.
Ensure confidentiality and security of employee records.
7. Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and submit reports on HRrelated metrics including turnover absenteeism and employee engagement.
Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
8. Special Projects:
Assist with special projects including employee recognition programs training initiatives and other HRrelated projects.
Requirements:
1. Education:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
2. Experience:
At least 34 years of experience in human resources
3. Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Proficient in HR software and systems.
3. Certifications:
A registered member of ZIHRM
