This internship is with the following Business Line:
Covenant Compliance Group:
Supports lines of business across the bank primarily through spreading and covenant testing. Credit Analysts are trained to understand financial statements and how each line item informs us about the financial health of the business.
The group spreads financials and takes statement qualities of a variety of financials tax returns 10Ks etc. and spreads them into the system that they use. They do Covenant testing and see if the loans are in compliance. They assess line of credit and work with aging reports with accounts receivable. They also run calculations that would figure out the full LOC.
In this paid internship youll be empowered to work on challenging and complex issues in a collaborative environment with other talented interns. Over the 10week program youll participate in business projects mentoring leadership development training and teambuilding activities designed to set you up for professional success. The summer Internship program runs June through August with flexible dates available based on school schedules. Interns who perform well and demonstrate a commitment to our values of integrity creativity teamwork passion and excellence may be extended employment opportunities with Western Alliance Bank.
What youll need:
Individuals who are passionate and entrepreneurial just like our clients. Specifically were looking for topperformers interested in pursuing careers in Commercial Banking.
You may be a fit for the program if you meet certain eligibility requirements including:
- Undergraduate students currently enrolled in a related field of study.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Strong analytical conceptual communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to selfmotivate and work productively without supervision.
- An interest in working in the Commercial Business Banking industry.
To be eligible for this program you must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employmentbased immigration sponsorship for this program. Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $21.50 for San Diego CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.Benefits youll love:
