We are looking for swim instructors who want to make a difference. SwimRVA is committed to Drownproofing Richmond and needs your help to teach every child and every adult in the region to swim! We have flexible scheduling and multiple locations to choose from. We are dedicated to developing our participants into confident lifelong swimmers. The SwimRVA Swim Instructor job duties:
- Manage a wet classroom consistent with SwimRVAs unique teaching platform
- Effectively teach swimming skills and water safety to children and adults
- Creatively incorporate diverse and fun activities into lessons
- Assess participants swimming skills for appropriate station placement and advancement
Qualifications:
- A positive attitude and work ethic
- A love for teaching water and aquatics programing
- A desire to grow professionally through aquatics
Salary/ Benefits:
- Parttime position
- Starting salary at $14.25/hour
