HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT

Leads enterprisewide continuous/performance improvement projects aligned with Tallahassee Memorial Healthcares (TMH) strategic plan. Delivers business results that improve patient quality safety outcomes and colleague engagement; reduce waste defects costs and operational variation; transform endtoend processes; and improve revenue. Quantifies and conceptualizes complex problems; develops analytical road maps to address them. Drives a continuous improvement culture of patient focus datadriven decisionmaking process ownership and operational metrics. Works with leaders and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement that maximize strategic and financial value; coaches (as needed). Technical expert in Lean (plandostudyact (PDSA)) Six Sigma (define measure analyze improve and control (DMAIC)) tools methods and concepts. Primary resource for continuous/performance improvement initiatives; operates as an internal consultant. Mentors and coaches the Lean Services team and project teams (as needed). Develops targeted Lean Six Sigma training materials for use throughout the organization. Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes; develops sustainable repeatable and quantifiable improvements. Analyzes data to initiate develop and recommend business practices and procedures focusing on enhancing safety increasing productivity and reducing costs. Researches best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmarks.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

Bachelors degree in a healthcare performance improvement or related field

Required Experience:

Five (5) years of relevant jobrelated experience

Required Certification/License/Registry:

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
  • Behavioral Criteria: PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS. Proficient in Minitab Visio and Microsoft (MS) Office including Excel Word PowerPoint. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Selfstarter.
