Position Summary
Harness is seeking an experienced Partner Marketing Manager who will develop and executejoint gotomarket (GTM) strategies with our partner ecosystem including cloud providers technology alliances and global system integrators (GSIs)s. This role requiressomeone with a keen understanding of partnership dynamics and the ability to create closelyaligned marketing initiatives across various channels including digital and inperson eventscobranded collateral and accountbased marketing (ABM) campaigns.
From messaging and campaign strategy to partner enablement and demand generation youll be at the forefront of driving Harness gotomarket through our expanding partner network.
About the role
- Plan and develop campaigns with partners partner management and regional sales teams to engage the partner community with digital content and inperson events.
- Assemble partner marketing toolkits including campaigns in a box content and design assets product and training content and other sales support collateral. (typically repurposing existing content)
- Rely on collaboration with partners to plan and organize joint events like webinars seminars conferences and trade shows to ensure a cohesive brand experience.
- Team with internal groups such as partner management sales product marketing and customer success to ensure a unified approach to partner marketing efforts.
- Navigate the fiscal oversight of the budget allocated for partner marketing initiatives ensuring the efficient use of resources and the maximization of return on investment.
- Execute a Partner Marketing plan in coordination with the Partner Management team.
- Report on the performance of partner marketing activities optimizing strategies based on data insights.
About you
- 57 years of partner marketing experience ideally in B2B SaaS or DevOps. (field marketing experience is a plus);
- Strong understanding of marketing principles including digital marketing event planning and ABM strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Event planning and management knowledge with a proven track record of successfully executing multifaceted events (both small and large scale);
- Ability to build strong working relationships lead crossfunctional teams and drive buyin from sales product and marketing leadership;
- Selfstarter with high autonomy strong project management skills and the ability to adapt to change;
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret marketing performance data.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration Communications or a related field.
- Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM tools.
- Experience in organizing and executing successful events.
Work Location
- Ideally hybrid from our San Francisco office but we will also consider candidates who are remote from within the West Coast (U.S).

The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $140000 and $170000 annually. Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location level relevant experience and skills. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. The compensation package for this position also includes a commission/variable component which is based on performance plus equity and benefits.
