Roles and Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary interface with regulatory agencies specifically FAA and EASA.
Develop the new GE sites Quality system to meet all regulatory and business requirements.
Create a Culture of Quality where Quality is at the forefront of everyones mind.
Oversee and Perform internal audits locally and at remote locations.
Conduct and own the Quality training plan for all staff as required.
Work with the Business Leader and support team to maintain the GE Aerospace Flight Deck Management System.
Own the proactive quality framework for reducing quality risk at the shop.
Lead RCCA Execution for the shop facilitating best practice sharing with other GE Aerospace and OWS shops.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 5 years of aviation industry experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4 years of aviation industry experience).
5 years of commercial aircraft engines experience.
5 years of experience working with aviation regulatory agencies.
1 year of experience with FAA FAR 145 procedures and processes.
Desired Characteristics:
Qualified Auditor or Auditing experience.
Test Cell experience preferred but other MRO experience will be considered.
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document plan market and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
