Associate Director Marketing

The Associate Director Marketing will lead the marketing strategies for our cardiovascular (CV) portfolio. This leadership position involves developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans for selected assets in the CV portfolio that align with corporate goals and address the needs of healthcare professionals and patients. This role will report into the Business Unit Director and will be based out of Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Planning:

  • Formulate prelaunch strategies and marketing plans tailored to the asset a) (a) Market Segmentation: Identify and define target demographics within the cardiovascular market. (b) Value Proposition: Articulate the unique selling points (USPs) of the CV products. (c) Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) to foster advocacy.
  • Create and execute marketing plans that align with corporate objectives and market needs.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends opportunities and insights that inform marketing strategies
  • Perform Clearsight modelling and market share analysis and devise strategies to increase brand share
  • Conceptualize and design marketing content E.g. Detail aid LBL Lama speaker decks campaign visuals etc
  • Work alongside and lead crossfunctional projects which includes sales medical affairs and regulatory teams to ensure cohesive execution of marketing and prelaunch strategies
  • Conceptualization planning and nationwide implementation of novel marketing engagements in line with business needs. E.g. innovative HCP education Media Patient awareness Disease awareness etc.

Marketing Execution:

  • Drive Monthly Business Reviews for the all zones incorporating crossfunctional data analysis accountlevel assessments market share evaluations and prescriber insights.
  • Oversee relationships with healthcare organizations (HCOs) including negotiation documentation and postevent followup.
  • Drive differentiated scientific education through International Speaker Programs (ISPs) from start to finish including expert selection logistics coordination nationwide tours and postevent evaluations.

Job Requirements:

  • Individuals with strong background in marketing (cardiology/critical care/rare diseases preferred)/ experience leading marketing for multimillion brands / management consulting experience
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Experience leading crossfunctional teams in diverse settings
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrates behaviour consistent with high integrity and strong values
  • Experience with launching new products is preferred
  • Education: Masters or higher (Business and / or Policy preferred)
