Job Description

Job Summary
Responsible for organizing and managing Medicare seminars including educational/sales events workshops and community outreach initiatives. Ensures all events run smoothly meet regulatory requirements and help promote Medicare education and awareness within the community. The role requires strong project management skills the ability to engage with the senior population and a deep understanding of Medicare programs and El Paso Health Medicare Advantage. Position is primarily officebased with frequent travel for event coordination. Must be available to work evenings and weekends for community events.

1. Ability to work with diverse populations especially seniors.
2. Knowledge of Medicare enrollment processes and compliance requirements.
3. Knowledge of healthcare delivery.
4. Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Ability to represent the company with external constituents.
6. Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
7. Ability to multitask work reliably and independently.
8. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from families members and external constituents.
9. Effective planning organizational and time management skills.
10. Strong Customer Service skills and orientation.
11. Intermediate/Expert in Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point Excel Word).
12. Bilingual: English/Spanish (written and verbal) highly preferred.

Work Experience
Three years of experience with event planning and/or coordination are required preferably in healthcare or Medicare related services. Strong healthcare customer service background working with Medicare Medicaid and/or senior services is preferred.

License/Registration/Certification
Current and active General Lines Agent; Life Accident Health and HMO license issued through the Texas Department of Insurance is required.
Valid and current State drivers license is required.
Completion of EPH Medicare Plan Benefitcertification is required within 90 days of being in the position.

Education and Training
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
