Job Description
We are looking for a visionary AI Strategy Director to join our team and play a pivotal role in crafting the future of our AI strategy!
The AI Strategy Director will be responsible for developing advocating and implementing the strategy to maximise AI technologies to drive business growth and innovation. The AI Strategy Director will be in charge of supervising the development and implementation of AI solutions that align with our business objectives enhance operational efficiency and improve customer experiences.
This role requires a strategic problem solver with deep understanding of AI trends technologies and their applications in the financial sector. It involves educating inspiring and engaging various audiences about the benefits and applications of AI encouraging a culture of innovation and technological advancement and translating sophisticated technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- AI Strategy Development advocacy and promotion:
- Develop and complete comprehensive AI strategies aligned with the companys business goals and objectives.
- Find opportunities for AI integration across various business functions.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on AI trends and competitive landscape.
- Communicate AI strategies and project updates to senior management and other collaborators.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI initiatives ensuring they deliver measurable business value and align with strategic objectives.
- Supervise the design development and deployment of AI solutions to address key business challenges and opportunities ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional delivery teams including data scientists engineers and business analysts.
- Monitor project progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Champion the use of AI technologies across the organization.
- Provide training and support to teams on AI tools and methodologies.
- Develop a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the organization.
- Ensure clear Roles and Responsibilities between collaborators enabling / using AI systems.
- Stay abreast of the latest AI technologies and methodologies.
- Evaluate and recommend AI tools and platforms that best meet the companys needs.
- Ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standard methodologies.
- Build and cultivate a community of AI enthusiasts within and outside the organization.
- Organize and participate in AIrelated events conferences and meetups.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with external partners including academic institutions industry authorities and technology vendors.
- Design and implement training programs to enhance AI literacy among employees.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the AI team fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Develop educational materials case studies and success stories to showcase AI applications.
- Create and maintain a repository of AI resources for internal and external use.
- Masters degree or higher in Computer Science Data Science Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in AI and machine learning with at least 5 years in a leadership role ideally within the financial sector.
- Proven track record of optimally developing and implementing AI solutions that drive business value.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies including machine learning natural language processing and computer vision.
- Excellent critical thinking and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate business needs into AI solutions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire crossfunctional teams. Experience in addressing decision makers Executive Committee level.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and ethical considerations related to AI in the financial industry.
- Proven ability to stay current with emerging AI trends and technologies.
