A HSE Advisor role built for you
This opportunity exists on our highprofile Chifley South Tower project in the Sydney CBD.
The HSE Advisor is responsible for ensuring the companys HSE Plan is implemented on the project in accordance with the Corporate HSE Plan including:
- Assist project teams in the implementation of the companys policies HSE Plan and procedures
- Mentor and educate staff workers and contractors on HSE systems and processes
- Assist in the companys internal and external audit requirements
- Facilitate the closure of CARs and other corrective actions
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide advice to project teams and feedback to senior management in all matters relating to HSE
- Support the project teams with site reporting and compliance obligations
- Review and monitor key project performance indicators for HSE
- Assist with the companys internal audit program in relation to HSE including reviewing audit reports and the closure of corrective actions
- As required participate in the companys external audit program in relation to HSE including communication of audit reports and assisting the project teams to close out corrective actions
- Maintain a close working relationship with the regional HSE Advisors
- Represent a Built Safely Always behaviours
- Maintain a proactive safety culture
To succeed in this role it is important that you have gained:
- Minimum 5 years work experience in a HSE role within the Building and Construction or related industry
- Certificate IV OHS Management
- Understanding of incident investigation ICAM preferred
- Exposure to the HSE accreditation process
- OFSC experience
- AS/NZS4801 experience
