Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Accounting Manager to join our accounting team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and maintaining strong internal controls.

The Accounting Manager for the Americas region is responsible for the US companies daytoday accounting as well as compliance with all internal accounting procedures and controls as well as TP Aerospaces Accounting Manual. In addition the Accounting Manager coordinates the business activities of the global corporation with the regional and local agencies that govern the Americas business and with local advisors as it relates to local accounting practices tax practices and laws business licenses financial reporting and banking transactions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY
OPERATIONAL
- Responsible for the US accounting teams day to day accounting for the AMERICAS companies including:
- Monthly Accounting activities
- Posting accruals and other balance sheet items or Fixed assets Capitalization and depreciation and Bank reconciliation.
- Vendor reconciliations and Vendor payments
- Balance sheet reconciliations for all companies
- Responsible for the quality and timeliness of month and year end closing
- Responsible for cost controlling of the AMERICAS companies including monthly reviews of actuals vs. budget
- Responsible for other financial analysis required by HQ or local management
- Responsible for the state and local tax filings & Payments (Per HQ guidance)
- Sales is responsible for SALT compliance within a framework established by accounting
- Responsible for the local insurance documents (proof and evidence of coverage)
- Responsible for the local state business license renewals and proper posting/display
- Responsible for oversight of purchasing activities to ensure COGS and operational spending is aligned with budgetary direction with proper approvals
Payroll:
- Salary /hourly processing (after HR submits time and attendance)
- Monthly Payroll accruals
- Process bonus / Gift card recording
- Tax filing
- Corporate Taxes
- Build align and maintain compliance framework which ensures SALT tax compliance.
- CPA Files Tangible annual taxes and sends us backup.
- (Payment made upon receipt of invoice).
People Management
- Responsible for the daytoday management and development of the US accounting personnel
- Responsible for all external vendors of professional services (selection qualification approval maintenance)
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in accounting.
- 5 years experience working with accounting at Group level in an international Company.
- Experience leading teams and developing staff with a passion for building a culture of greatness.
- Independent and strong interpersonal skills.
- Structured and pays great attention to detail or ability to prioritize organize and plan tasks.
- Solid analytical and decisionmaking skills.
- Excellent problemsolving ability.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills
- Openminded and can navigate a changing environment
