About the Role...

As the ad tech industry faces its biggest challenge yet with the collapse in addressability advertisers are struggling to reach their target audience at scale in the Open Web with some shifting their spend to Walled Gardens. We see a huge opportunity for premium publishers and broadcasters to redirect that budget towards their audiences by replacing the deprecating targeting currency in the ecosystem (cookies and IDs) with their own signals.

Our data infrastructure and platform underpins the ad business of 150 of the biggest publishers and broadcasters in the world and our edge technology allows publishers to reach 100% addressability even in environments that block cookies by default. Marketleading advertisers are leveraging our data collaboration capabilities across this premium supply to transform their performance in the Open Web by targeting publisher signals not cookies or IDs: double their reach double their sales halve their cost per acquisition.

In that context Permutive is hiring for a Senior Technical Product Manager to own our Supply Side Signals products and capabilities. The Supply Side Signals team is in charge of building products and capabilities that allow publishers and broadcasters to ingest build manage and activate high yield signals. Those signals include: contextual and behavioural cohorts built natively in the platform audiences built from subscriber/customer data signals built from data collaboration with partners etc.

What youll be doing...

• Building upon our existing solution in the UI and in the back end: continuing to integrate AI into the platform to automate the creation and optimisation of signals; revamp our identity graph

• Establishing our long term vision for the product

On top of traditional product management skills and responsibilities (defining the product vision managing the product throughout the product life cycle working closely with engineering to deliver new features/functionalities) the role will require strong technical skills to influence our technical vision for collaboration and connectivity.

Success will be measured against 3 key metrics:

• Product Delivery against timeline against each stage of the product life cycle

• Adoption of new capabilities by our customers

• Value metric: Volume of targeted impressions against signals build and activated within Permutive

Your daytoday responsibilities will include:

• Strategy & roadmap: Establishing the vision for the product as well as building & managing the roadmap.

• Product execution: Producing clear wellscoped product requirements to help our team understand what customer problems were solving. Working with our engineering teams to ensure predictable velocity balancing feature development with quality and internal requirements.

• Prototyping: working with the engineers and designer to rapidly build POCs to bring to life how we intend to solve problems identified in market.

• Test and Iterate: Be in the market to gather feedback from prospects on the prototypes and experiment with different strategies to refine productmarket fit. Defining and analysing metrics so that we understand customer behaviour gaps and opportunities.

• Equip sellers: Sellers are equipped with collateral (such as prototypes slides Preset dashboard etc.) to progress deals down the sales funnel.

• Drive CrossFunctional Alignment: Collaborate closely with teams like Customer Success and Sales to ensure we are making progress towards creating substantial value for customers in particular towards expanding supply to new media and providing measurement solutions to our customers.

• Influence Senior Leadership: Build relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization and advocate for the product vision and roadmap.

What youll need...

• Extensive experience in Product management managing highly technical products

• Experience working with product designers

• Experience in leading the delivery of new products from ideation through launch

• Experience establishing the vision and plan for a product

• Experience / understanding of adtech

• Grit and confidence: There may be multiple iterations of an MVP.

• Demonstrable experience of responsibility for defining instrumenting and owning commercial business metrics for a revenuegenerating product.

• Experience working crossfunctionally with customer success sales and technical teams.
