To work as part of a team in an office environment to support the management of safeguarding referrals into the Central MASH. The role involves creating new crimes/noncrimes using the decision tree in Connect conducting intelligence research on connected persons via a number of IT systems and the review and recording of this intelligence and information on Connect investigation logs.
This information will then need to be shared with relevant agencies and/or the MASH.
The offences will include child abuse (sexual physical and neglect) honourbased abuse forced marriage female genital mutilation human trafficking child sexual exploitation domestic abuse unexpected child death and homicide.

Vetting: Successful applicants will be required to pass Recruitment Vetting and Counter Terrorism Clearance scrutiny prior to commencing their role this will include a full background & financial disclosure as part of the vetting process
Hours: MondayFriday between 0800x1800hrs (flexibility is required and successful applicant will be expected to work at least one 10x6 per week and 9x5 on a Friday)
