Job Description
You study dossiers contract documents and plans as part of your job as a planning engineer. In short you undertake all the preparations required for a streamlined implementation.
Profile
you have a higher education diploma in engineering and at least five years of relevant experience in a similar position
you have extensive allround technical knowledge of the construction industry
you have thorough knowledge of informatics particularly drawing software
you are creative contribute ideas for improvements and have an eye for detail
you are a born organiser and work well in a team
you oversee the process and respect deadlines
Position in the organisation
you help with the preparations for purchasing goods and services
you investigate and work out implementation alternatives
you manage the implementation plans and check construction drawings submitted by suppliers and subcontractors
you draft project and detailed drawings technical reports and technical records and you are in charge of the overview of these drawings and records
you draw up lists of measurements for preparing progress reports
you prepare the implementation planning and monitor the process to ensure that predetermined key data are obtained
you integrate budgets and process contract variations in the ERP system
you maintain contacts with the construction team that is responsible for implementation on the construction site
you report to the project manager
