The Company:
Investment Management company headquartered in South Africa and operates globally.
The Role:
You will play a critical part in monitoring security platforms analysing security incidents researching new threats and implementing security measures to mitigate risks and improve the overall security posture. You will also support the conduct of security assessments and audits and provide training to users to increase security awareness.
This role will require a deep understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals cloud security and incident response as well as the adaptability to work with various security frameworks (e.g. NIST PCI DSS).
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in computer science Cybersecurity or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Cybersecurity Analysis.
Advanced certification in Microsoft/Networking/Information Security.
Digital Cloud Certification is advantageous.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and respond to security incidents.
Proficiency with security technologies and principals: firewalls encryption intrusion detection.
Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations such as NIST and PCI DSS.
Knowledge of programming languages like Python and PowerShell.
Familiarity with various operating systems: Windows Linux macOS.
