Job Description
Install modify and make repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems and provide technical support and advice to system users. Maintain all voice systems.
Principal Responsibilities
- Identify and procure hardware and software needs as approved for purchase.
- Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors keyboards printers.
- Load appropriate software packages such as operations systems networking components and office applications.
- Assists in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users requirements.
- Provides telephone inperson and on line support to end users.
- Refers major problems to corporate contact for guidance.
- Connects users to networks and provides initial training in use.
- Administers email and antivirus systems
- Assists in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies.
Qualifications
An AS degree in a computer related field combined with 5 years of applicable work history or any combination of education work history or demonstration of capability.
