JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW

The Sales Development Representative will focus on the full prospecting life cycle by executing a verticalbased business development strategy for startup businesses in the areas of hightech finance and professional firms. The person in this position will promote and generate business opportunities by engaging Clevel executives on their human capital strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a precall plan and conduct research on prospects.
  • Develop high level communications and relationships with Clevel executives via email and phone.
  • Time and territory management.
  • Qualify marketing opportunities through consultative selling.
  • Manage data in the Salesforce CRM system to audit the prospecting life cycle.
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the managers discretion.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High School Diploma required Bachelors Degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Training Requirements (licenses programs or certificates):

N/A

Experience:

  • Experience in prospecting and research
  • Minimum 01 years of PEO experience
  • Experience with SalesForce and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) preferred
  • Experience in SaaS Cloud ERP HRIS sales preferred
  • Experience in consultative selling within technology professional and financial services preferred

Other Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization including Clevel communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while handling multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Outstanding phone presence and business acumen
  • Effective verbal skills to gain trust and interest of contacts via the phone
  • Computer skills with Word Excel PowerPoint and preferably with CRMs

WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER INFORMATION (Travel required physical requirements oncall schedules etc.)

  • Minimal travel required

The salary range for this role is $41600.00 to $57600.00. The candidates final salary offer will be based on the candidates skills education work location and experience.

Candidates hired into roles in the sales organization are also eligible for commissions consistent with TriNets commission plan.
