Opening our doors in 2015 with 92 fifth grade scholars THA will grow to serve over 1400 scholars in grades 512 across our two campuses in the academic year.

WHAT YOULL DO
We are looking for a detailoriented Assistant Principal of Operations reporting to the Principal to create manage and execute a variety of logistical and operational systems that allow scholars to learn and teachers to teach.. The Assistant Principal of Operations is a highly selfmotivated professional capable of envisioning and enacting systems that support scholar achievement from both macro and granular perspectives. Ideal candidates are reliable and effective believing strongly in consistency and have examples about how theyve created and upheld consistency in systems or programs theyve managed in the past. Candidates who will most enjoy the role thrive on variety and constant improvement communicate effectively and can be both proactive and responsive to needs as they evolve.

Core Responsibilities
Ops Team and Systems Management: Overall the Assistant Principal of Operations is responsible for managing the Operations Team to meet identified outcomes as well as managing key scholar and stafffacing systems that make our schools run well. This is a broad and deep role and examples of these systems include enrollment asset management purchasing PTO management meal ordering and processes and facilities tickets.
Scholar Attendance and Retention: Assistant Principals of Operations in conjunction with their School Leadership Team and Operations Teams create the systems and conditions to meet the network standard of 95% scholar attendance as well as communicating effectively with parents and school stakeholders to drive to am 85% scholar retention rate from year to year.
Information Systems and Data: Assistant Principals of Operations ensure THAs information systems are up to date and accurate including ensuring our student information system (PowerSchool) is updated and that we have all required scholar documentation and that we gather data and meet expectations for state accreditation.
Financial Processes and Controls: Assistant Principals of Operations manage the school discretionary budget and any financerelated matters including cash deposits scholar fees and purchasing processes and documentation.
Facilities and Safety: Assistant Principals of Operations ensure that our facilities are safe and clean learning environments for our scholars. This includes ensuring we execute safety drills well and have necessary signage address maintenance needs when they arise and that our spaces meet THAs standard.

THA school leaders ensure Tulsa Honor Academy is on track for academic excellence by ensuring they and their team have a clear longterm plan created through backwards planning document all systems and utilize data to inform priorities and decisions. All school leaders at Tulsa Honor Academy are expected to build relationships with classroom teachers address teacher needs communicate proactively celebrate scholar achievement model what THA expects (from scholars and adults) and work to build positive staff morale. School leaders hold expectations for themselves by modeling the all hands on deck mentality embodying THAs leadership mindset managing time and tasks taking ownership of tasks communicating effectively remaining committed to excellence and remaining proactive in all areas of responsibility.
THE DETAILS
Qualifications/Certifications
Bachelors degree required.
State certification preferred.
Experience
2 years of experience as a teacher or school leader is required
5 years of experience as a teacher or school leader is preferred
Prior experience in a school serving a similar population to THAs is preferred.
Charter school experience is strongly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
THAs salary schedule for Assistant Principals starts at $62000. Salary is commensurate with experience in the education field. THAs compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package. To learn more about THAs benefits visit Role

This role is year round (12 months) fulltime exempt.
