The Division
The Group Digital Capabilities (GDC) division ensures Euroclears competitiveness by deliveringreliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets.
The Tribe
The StraightThroughProcessing tribe contributes to the division strategy in delivering and supporting through agile practices costeffective timetomarket solutions for the domain of STP communication flows (transactional flows information flows reporting CRM).
We are looking for aTest Analystto join the STP Use the Product Squad which offers the opportunity to support the delivery of initiatives across the Organisation that impact our Communication layer meaning most of them!
The Test Analyst:
- Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and enduser requirements:
- Tests and integrates new and/or updated complex software functionality:
- Analyses test requirements and designs the corresponding test products (e.g. environment setup test scenarios test scripts test tools ).
- Drafts revises and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy
- Creates test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow
- Either implements or supervises the implementation of these test products (e.g. writes test scripts)
- Either conducts or supervises the execution of the tests and the evaluation of the test results
- Provides support to the Feature Delivery Owner or Test Team Leader on the overall project testing guidance and planning.
- Coordinates with users to plan user acceptance testing
- Ensures that system tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved
- Contributes to or manages the deployment preparation and execution for both PreProduction and Production until the end of the warranty period
Work is not closely supervised but is governed by standardized procedures that permit the use of initiatives.
You are:
- An experienced tester in charge of autonomously testing and integrating new and/or updated complex software functionality who is expected to be familiar with relevant testing tools technologies and processes and to have or rapidly acquire good understanding of the applications/systems being tested.
- Proficient in English
- Able to demonstrate your ability to learn ICT technologies.
- Able to easily adapt to new circumstances / technologies / procedures.
- Able to summarize complex technical situations in simple terms.
