Job Description
Crisis Prev Coordinator

Coordinator are where action meets purpose.
The Crisis Prevention Coordinator manages a caseload of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs addressing complex requirements. Responsibilities include offering consultation training and technical assistance aligned with agency policies and regulations. The role involves personcentered planning collaboration with therapeutic coaches Service Coordinators and provider staff. Crisis Prevention Coordinators may provide services as per grant/funding requirements and can be deployed to address crisis situations in MHMR or the community.
Minimum qualifications:
Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Science or Human Services field
Substitutions: May substitute a bachelors degree in any field where there is sufficient coursework (at least 30 semester hours) in human services areas will be accepted 42 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 483.430(a).
One (1) year Experience in IDD/MI personal IDD experience with a family member may be considered.
License/Certifications: Valid Texas Drivers License
