Job Description

SUMMARY:

AM and PM available Part time or Full time

ServerBarista and Bartender easy to make items in our BISTRO including opening and closing duties setting up necessary supplies and tools. Job hours vary but tend to be between 5:30am and 11am.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Cleaning all equipment areas locking equipment doors etc.
  • Set up stock clean and maintain work areas.
  • Take orders from customers input orders in Micros POS system and obtain payment and provide change.
  • Upscale customer food orders.
  • Communicate additional meal requirements allergies dietary needs and special requests to the kitchen.
  • Prepare food coffee and other beverages including alcohol.
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing food.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality standards presentation standards and food preparation checklist.
  • Provide assistance in Food and Beverage areas including busing cleaning and resetting tables delivering food to guests general cleaning of food and beverage prep areas and other areas within the lobby area.
  • Count bank at the end of shift complete designated cashier reports resolve any discrepancies drop off receipts and secure bank

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE ABILITY:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in oneonone and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organization.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or twostep instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Basic computer skills needed.
