Description

The (Sr) Director of Global Compensation leads the design implementation and management of the companys global compensation and programs while providing primary support to Americas region. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring that our compensation practices are competitive compliant and aligned with the companys overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep expertise in global compensation structures including salary benchmarking and performancebased incentives.

Responsibilities

  1. Global Compensation Strategy & Design: Lead the development and execution of global compensation strategies that align with business goals ensure competitiveness and support talent retention and attraction. Provide recommendations on compensation policies and practices.
  2. North American Compensation Support: Guides the daytoday delivery of the Americas compensation programs off cycle reviews and designated business focused initiatives.
  3. Compensation Structures & Programs: Oversee the design and implementation of global compensation structures including base salary bonus and equity programs. Ensure alignment with both local and global market trends and internal equity.
  4. Benchmarking & Market Analysis: Continuously evaluate compensation data and market trends globally to ensure compensation packages remain competitive and in line with industry standards. Utilize data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  5. Compensation Governance & Compliance: Ensure all compensation practices are compliant with local national and international legal and regulatory requirements. Manage compensation audits and maintain strong controls for governance and reporting purposes.
  6. Employee Engagement & Retention: Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to align compensation programs with talent management initiatives. Develop and support programs aimed at attracting engaging and retaining critical talent.
  7. Leadership & Team Development: Manage mentor and develop a highperforming global compensation team. Foster a collaborative and resultsoriented environment and ensure continuous professional development for team members.
  8. Stakeholder Training and Communication: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership providing guidance and insights on compensation matters. Develops educational program content ensuring that all stakeholders have the knowledge and tools to make responsible and timely pay decisions.
  9. Project Leadership: Leads the planning and implementation of global projects including but not limited to:Annual Compensation Planning Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) Optimization Critical Role Retention/ Market Alignment and Next Generation Compensation Education.
  10. Systemization: Leads system design configuration implementation and maintenance of all HRMS systems supporting global compensation programs.
  11. M&A Activities: May lead the evaluation and implementation of M&A activities and/or organizational redesign.
  12. Recognition: May lead the implementation and management of global recognition initiatives.
  13. Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a major in business administration.A focus in Human resource management Statistics and/or Finance is preferred.
  2. 15 years of global HR experience in broadbased compensation matters.
  3. Strong analytical problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
  4. Significant team and project leadership experience in a global publicly traded business.
  5. Experience with alignment of incentive and sales incentive programs with business objectives.
  6. Through understanding of HCM systems Oracle experience preferred.
  7. High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
